It's been a busy rehab for Max but a good one. His submissive/fear peeing is all but gone and his excited peeing is greatly decreased, minimal in amount, and usually very predictable (mostly when his favorite people show up). So many of the serious stress symptoms that impeded his life when he first arrived are now almost hard to remember. He's become an agility beast, often running through any tunnel and leaping over any jump he sees--over and over again--for the sheer joy of it. He also passed his CGC test with flying colors. Max loves everyone and has built the confidence to meet them all--and become quite the charmer. Most of all, this sweet boy has fallen in love with his fosters and they with him. It really was love at first sight all those weeks ago. Though we weren't intending to post him as adoptable until his meds had run their course in a few more weeks, we are very happy to announce that Max and his former-foster family are now living their happily-ever-forever-after. Congrats, sweet Max, we wish you all the best. |
